The plans of 2K for an updated Mafia trilogy continue. But as we know that Mafia: Definitive Edition is currently on its way and will be reaching us very soon. Well, it will be launched a bit later than the original plan. So, now the new release date for Mafia: Definitive Edition is September 25.
2K and Hangar 13 said in a statement that:
“Mafia: Definitive Edition will now release worldwide on September 25. Though we’d originally planned to release the game one month earlier on August 28, finalizing everything in time for that launch date has become increasingly challenging due to the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic, and the last thing we want to do is compromise the quality of the experience.”
We are going to see the remake of Mafia sooner that that. The developers are going to host a gameplay reveal on 22nd July.
