Chivalry 2 has finally been announced for both the console- current and the next-gen. Chivalry will be arriving for PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X which was announced on the 10th of June 2020. It will also support crossplay across the platforms.
The game features a multiplayer first-person slasher and precedes the Chivalry Medieval Warfare. The storyline of the game is inspired by the epic medieval movie battles and is currently under development at Torn Banner Studios and Tripwire.
The game was originally announced at the E3 which took place in the year 2019 and will allow up to 64 players battling in this medieval combat game. The game will be having improved combat systems and new sub-classes which will give the players more options for customization. The game will feature a free-form combo system in order to make more realistic melee attacks. New massive siege weapons are included in the game which will help to simulate a large-scale battle. You can also continue your fight after losing long limbs or being disarmed.
It is also coming to the PC is closed alphas and is said to be released on the Epic Games Store firstly. It will also land on other PC Services the following year.

As the game is arriving for the next-gen consoles, so it is being created with Unreal Engine 4 and not in Unreal Engine 5. It is expected to see the PS5 using the engine live while the reveal event goes on.
