Michael Ealy to return to the network via the medical drama pilot ‘Triage’

Forty seven year old American actor Michael Ealy has been confirmed as the male lead character in Triage. He will star opposite forty three year old Jamaican actress Parisa Fitz-Henly. Triage is a medical drama pilot on ABC network, second cycle. The show has been created by David Cornue, Erica Messer, 20th Television and Jon M. Chu.


Triage has been created by writer and producer David Cornue. The character driven drama revolves around Finley Briar who is played by Parisa Fitz Henly. The actress plays a pioneering surgeon over three distinct decades at the same hospital. As medicine evolves as the backdrop, the series starts exploring careers, friendships which get interconnected with Finley and her colleagues at the hospital. As time passes, the relationship becomes tenuous.


Michael Ealy will play the character of Nathaniel Prince who is a brilliant neurosurgeon, who is a close friend and colleague of Finley Briar. The two share a profound personal connection as well.

The show is being executive produced by Cornue alongside Messer who will also be the showrunner of Triage. Chu will also direct the medical drama and act as executive producer. Caitlin Foito, Steven Marrs and Courtney Hazlett of OutEast entertainment will also executive produce the medical drama.

Michael Ealy who was born on third August is also known for his role in Bad company which was a film released in 2002 that is eighteen years ago. The action comedy film got a lot of fame for the actor. He is also known for the role as Ricky Nash in the 2002 film Barbershop. This was the breakthrough of this career.

ABC network decided not to go through with a series in which Ealy was starring opposite Cobie Smulders who is mainly known for role as Robin in the American sitcom how I met your mother.
