What did Michelle Obama say about marriage?
Obama said that the same is the case with her too. She further added that she has always felt it would be good for people to approach picking a romantic partner just like picking a basketball team.
This she explains by saying that if you’re looking at a team, the people you want to win with, then number one you want everybody on your team to be strong. Further, she adds that You don’t want any weak links and don’t want somebody that you can dominate. And you don’t want somebody who’s kind of a loser. And also, if you’re on a team, you’ve got to be able to do everything, especially in basketball, you would never pick somebody who says that he only dribbles or he doesn’t shoot or maybe that he doesn’t defend or maybe he just dribbles.
Later, the two talked about making marriage work and developing a strong, lasting relationship with another person. To this Obama explained that it takes hard work and determination to foster the bond.
She further added that People aren’t perfect and Marriage is hard. Undoubtedly It’s a struggle for everyone. But, the question you have to ask is Do you want to build something with someone?
