Monster Musume season 2- How did the previous season end? (Ending explained)

Monster Musume season 2: Monster Musume is a Japanese manga series, written and illustrated by Okayad. The story revolves around Kimihito Kurusu’s life and how he somehow gets involved with species like centaurs, wenches, mermaids, lamias, along with brutes that are distinct. It premiered on July 6, 2015, and got renewed for a second season. No official release date has been announced yet. We can expect it to air around July 2021.

Monster Musume season 2: How did the previous season end?

The series is about a “Interspecies Cultural Exchange” program in which all the monsters are real. Kimihito Kurusu is forced into taking part in the program and six liminal girls who are crazily in love with him – Miia, Papi, Centorea (Cerea), Suu, Mero, and Rachnera.

In the starting, Lala warns Kimihito that he is on the verge of death. But he doesn’t believe her. Papi takes off and Rachnee ties Lala up. Papi crashes shortly later as mentioned in the previous episode that he cannot see well at night. Cerea shows up and tells Kimihito and Suu that they should ride away, while the others help hold Lala back. Cerea was about to run away again, but Lala shows up saying they cannot outrun death. Then, Mero comes up from the water to take him with her. Mero believes Kimihito will really die and wishes to have children. However, Miia saves him with her tail when Mero drags him below the water in order to make love to him.

Monster Musume: Lala was continuously saying the same thing so Kimihito says that he will decide who to marry if he reaches home alive. Miia states he was on a major death flag when he goes to slowly walk in the street as a truck is driving by, however, the truck was really just an RC Car.

When they all reached the house, Mrs. Smith scolds Lala after knowing what she was doing. Kimihito says he already knew what was happening. He knew that she is a Chuunibyou. Lala gets curious why Kimihito does not die despite all the near-death experiences he has and decides to stay.

Then they have to deals with their food shortage. After getting food for that day, Mrs. Smith forgot to tell him that they have to pay the food expense as they are in the program.
