Renewed Status and Release Date of My Brilliant Friend Season-3
Fans will be delighted to know that the series has been confirmed for a new season. HBO renewed the show for a third season on April 30, 2020, while the second season was still airing. The third season will consist of eight episodes and will be based on the third novel in the series, Those Who Leave and Those Who Stay.
There hasn’t been any announcement regarding the official release date of the third season. There was a gap of 15 to 16 months between the release of the previous two seasons. However, the filming for the third season hasn’t started yet. Given the Covid-19 pandemic, we could expect to see the third season arrive late 2021 or early 2022.
