Reportedly, Filthy Rich and Next has been confirmed to be cancelled at Fox after just one season each. The left episodes of the series will air as they’re are previously scheduled.

Fox would not be moving forward with second seasons of Next and Filthy Rich, as confirmed by reports. Earlier, this year both the shows were delayed due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. As per the speculations, both the shows performed well at Fox creatively but failed to receive overwhelming ratings and the complications caused by the coronavirus pandemic also have been a factor in the cancellation of both the series. Filthy Rich, which has broadcast five episodes until now is averaging a 0.5 rating with 3.2 million viewership each episode, which also includes a week of delayed viewership. Next has aired only 2 episodes out of its 10 episodes and it is averaging 0.5 rating with 2.8 million total viewership.
The cast of Filthy Rich includes Kim Cattrall, Gerald McRaney, Aubrey Dollar, Carey Lott, Benjamin Aguilar, Mark L. Young, Melia Kreiling, Steve Harris, David Denman and Olivia Marklin. Filthy Rich is an southern gothic drama, developed and executive produced by Tate Taylor, Brain Grazer, Francie Calfo and John Norris along with Cattrall as a producer.
Next is helmed from the creator and executive producer Manny Coto along with Charlie Gogalak and directors John Requa and Glenn Ficarra. The star cast includes John Slattery, Michael Mosley, Jason Butler Harner, Eve Harlow, Aaron Moten, Gerardo Celasco, Elizabeth Cappuccino and Evan Whitten.
