Obi Wan Show

Obi Wan Show: Fasten your seat belts as the news we have for you might take you by shock. We are here with the latest updates regarding the long-awaited Obi-Wan Kenobi show.

(Spoilers Alert)

Obi-Wan Kenobi is a legendary Jedi Master. He is a nobleman and is gifted in the ways of the Force. Served as a general in the Republic Army during the Clone Wars. He also trained Anakin Skywalker and guided Luke Skywalker as a mentor.

He happens to be one of the most famous characters from the star wars series. Initially played by an English actor, Alec Guinness, and played by Evan McGregor in the later prequels. Evan McGregor played the younger version of the character and was one of the two main protagonists, apart from Anakin Skywalker.

The character developed a separate fanbase of its own. And because of this sudden gain of popularity, the creators decided a spin-off Kenobi show.

When Will We Be Able To Watch The Obi-Wan Show?

The release date for the show is not confirmed yet. Although, LucasFilm’s Kathleen Kennedy set forth the fact that the scripts are written and the shooting will begin in 2020.

The series is set to premiere on Disney+. But as the release date is still not clear, people have started building speculations that the show has been halted midway.

Who All Will Be Starring In The Obi-Wan Spin-Off?

So far, only Evan McGregor has confirmed his return as Obi-Wan Kenobi. The rest of the cast is still yet to be disclosed. We might get to see Hayden Christiansen as Anakin Skywalker or Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano. But it is still not confirmed.

What Will Be The Plot Of The Obi-Wan Show?

McGregor told Men’s Journal.“It will be interesting to take a character we know in a way and show him… Well, his arc will be quite interesting, I think, dealing with that, the fact that all the Jedi were slaughtered with the end of Revenge of the Sith. It’s quite something to get over,”

The story is set to take place approximately eight years after “Revenge Of The Sith” events, where Obi was seen guiding Luke Skywalker. So judging by the time interval between the movies, the show will take place around the time of “Solo: A Star Wars Story”.

That’s all we have, for now. For further updates, stay tuned.
