The supernatural drama is Netflix’s first ever Egyptian Original series and first Arabic- language netflix original.
The show portrays Amin as a hematologist who starts experiencing paranormal activities and begins rethinking everything about his life’s past and present situations.
The first season was released in November 2020, well it is too early to say about its renewal but if the show is received well we might have its season 2.
When can we expect season 2?
With the Coronavirus pandemic bringing productions to halt, it remains unknown if the creators will be able to shoot a renewal.
Egypt is well known for producing quality content and successful Arabic films, so the producers have high hopes from this one.
If Netflix agrees and all goes well we can expect Paranormal season 2 to be out by 2022.

Howaida and Raeefa will also make a return, as they help the doctor discover truths about the paranormal world.

As it is based on a long running series of books, there’s much content left to be discovered.
It depends on the creators as to which story they pick up and produce for the new season.
We can expect the show to run for several
seasons but that depends on how popular it turns out to be after the release of the first season.
