Perry Mason Season 2, Perry Mason is a detective fiction drama television series created by Rolin Jones and Ron Fitzgerald. This show is based on the American fictional character of the same name created by Erle Stanley Gardner. But it would be inappropriate to compare this to the old Perry Mason because except for the names this is a very fresh, extremely dark and grisly, take on the private eye series.
The debut of Perry Mason with 1.7 million viewers on HBO broke the records of other hit shows such as Watchmen with 1.5 views and The Outsider with 1.2 million viewers. HBO has renewed its period drama for a second season in July 2020.
Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming season of Perry Mason.

After witnessing the highest premiere ratings within 2 years, executive vice president of HBO announced that the HBO team is excited to continue the show for another season. The official release date for the second season hasn’t yet been set. It premiered on June 21, 2020, and its last episode will release on August 9, 2020.

Perry Mason Season 2: Cast

Along with Matthew Rhys playing Perry Mason, other cast members returning for the new season are Chris Chalk as Paul Drake, Juliet Rylance as Della Street, Tatiana Maslany as Sister Alice McKeegan, and Shea Whigham as Pete Strickland.
Perry Mason Season 2: What will happen in the next season?
This show is about the original character Perry Mason, a criminal defense lawyer who was depressed because of his bad experiences of World war-1 and his failed marriage. He was called upon to solve a case. As the first season still needs to be concluded, it is quite difficult to guess what will happen in the next season. But it will definitely be connected to the original story.
Gardner, the original creator of Perry Mason, published 80 Perry Mason books and also wrote short stories about Perry Mason. Shortly after the premiere of the first season, Rolin Jones said that there is so much stuff in the Erle Stanley Gardner universe to continue the show with more seasons. So it is quite sure that there are plenty of mysteries left to be solved in the upcoming season.
