Last week, Disney+ released an explanation showing their back towards the Asian American and Pacific Islander organizations. Pixar has released two Pixar SparkShorts movies Wind and Float on YouTube to be accessible to all.
Pixar Releases Films in Solidarity With Asian and Asian-American Communities :
The rise of the pandemic has unleashed a slew of despising violations against Asians and Asian-Americans over the U.S. In later months, America has seen an increment in deaths within the Asian communities as a result of these racist comments. With the discharge of both Asian-led shorts, Pixar is in clear solidarity with the Asian communities amid the time of these assaults.
With the release of Wind and Float on YouTube, Pixar conveyed an extraordinary message expressing:

We are proud of the onscreen representation in this short and have decided to make it widely available, in celebration of what stories that feature Asian characters can do to promote inclusion everywhere.”
“Float”: The fourth film in Pixar’s SparkShorts
“Float” takes after the story of a father who finds his child is different from other kids. In a really uncommon way. However, after odd and weird looks from neighbors.
