Pokemon Journeys introduced new Sword and Shield’s water type starter Sobble!

Pokemon: Ash Ketchum is a huge selling point for the Pokemon Journeys anime along with his new companion Goh. They are travelling across the world in every episode. With the coming future they will soon head to the Johto Region for a plot that is Celebi-focused. That structure is not left with much time in order to explore the Galar Region. This was thoroughly covered in the previous Pokemon Journeys  season, which makes it even more exciting for the Generation 8 starter Sobble to play the major role, finally.

In episode 28 of Pokemon Journeys, which was launched in Japan, the duo came across a Sobble, And afterwards, some shenanigans it winds up being captured by Goh. Some fans were worried that You would catch Sobble instead of Ash. They thought so because of the original synopsis that was released. AS the character started his journey with a Scorbunny already, but luckily the episode managed this new catch in a very uncommon way.

At the end of the episode, Goh becomes frustrated as he was not able to capture the Pokemon Journeys Sobble in question. He then threw a Pokeball in anger and winds up accidentally hitting the camouflaging, an invisible lizard Pokemon. Well, this was surprising!

And now, only Grookery is left out of the trio of the Galar starters Pokemon. The fans will be left to decide whether You will be able to capture all the three or lets Ash take the Grass-type which is quite similar to his use of Treecko in Hoenn and Rowlet in Aloha. It is going to be interesting to watch whether the upcoming season will make the use of the Galar starter Gigantamax forms which was came in Sword and Shield’s Isle of Armor DLC.

Pokemon Journeys is now available on Netflix.
