An ex creative director of the gaming franchise is going to leave the franchise. Because of the allegation against him for sexual harassment cases.
Therefore now, people throughout the game and streaming industry, are coming forward with their sexual harassment experiences. From the professional Super Smash Bros. Players to the Twitch streamers to the employees of Mixer, all have been accused of misconducts which is related to sexual harassment.
The Creative VP at Ubisoft Toronto has been accused of sexual harassment allegations. However, the above accusations came into light near the end of June. Many women from the company came forward to report about his behavior. The employees said that a female co-worker was choked by the executive employee and was involved in other aggressive behaviors toward women at a Far Cry party.
Splinter Cell – On 3rd July, Ubisoft revealed that Beland, the creative VP will be leaving the franchise. The above decision was “effective immediately.”
Beland became the Creative VP of the editorial team of Ubisoft in the month of January. Tommy Francois is currently under investigation and is on disciplinary leave pending. He is another member of the team who is an editorial VP.
