PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has started ruling the mobile game platform, as viewed in the report from Sensor Tower stating that that the PUBG Mobile has raked in an impressive amount of $226 million last month, in the revenue. This shows 41% growth since May 2019. Tencent has secured the first as well as the second place in this report when the matter comes to the total revenue, with PUBG Mobile on the top followed by the Honor of Kings filling their pockets with an estimated total pf $450.5 million overall.
The PUBG Mobile, saw its highest revenue coming from its Chinese share market- China has made up 53% of the game’s earnings the previous month; with US in the second position with a share of 10.2%. Honor of Kings is followed by Robolox who takes up the third place when accounting for the overall revenue that was earned in the month of May this year, beating out Pokémon Go and Fate/Grand Order.
Since, Pokémon Go has seen a rise in its revenue since May last year, still it couldn’t surpass PUBG Mobile. Even Fortnite who managed to make over $1 billion from the microtransactions, couldn’t make its way through the top ten list of the Sensor Tower even.
