The launch of Resident Evil 7 has left a remarkable impression on the gaming community. It depicted the amount of love that the series has received from its fans. Resident Evil has a potential for the old-school, survival horror format. The game faced a critical success which left several fans happy and excited for whatever they will bring next for the franchise.
The reveal trailer for Resident Evil8 was rolled out on 10th June, since then there has been a huge discussion about the game in terms of its setting, mechanics and narrative direction. However, there still remain a lot of unknown things related to the finer details of the game. Due to this several leaks and rumors have taken their way through the internet. One such leak is claiming that the game will be featuring support for the PlayStation VR.
A twitter user Dusk Golem confirmed that the game will be supporting PlayStation VR when questioned about the frame rate consistency. But, previously the user that the game will not feature PSVR support, now seems to be supporting it.
For anyone worried about RE8's frame rate, don't. The trailer played kinda' weirdly on the stream, but the game does support PSVR from what I hear so they will be aiming for a stable 60fps.

Dusk Golem has always successfully predicted about the game’s feature previously too before the launch trailer. This consists of the redesign of Chris Redfield, Etan Winters coming again as a playable character and some in-game settings. The user also confirmed that the game will be called as Resident Evil Villager days before the reveal trailer. Thus, it seems to be safe to assume that the information can be correct.
However, the fans should keep a note that this feature has not been officially rumoured and can’t be relied on completely.
Resident Evil 8 is expected to launch in the year 2021.
