Lili Reinhart: Returning to work has not been easy for Lili Reinhart. It happened after months of the shutdown of Riverdale production due to the global spread of coronavirus.
She has been summoned back to Canada to shoot the remainder of the show’s fourth season. She will be kept in two-week quarantine, after which she will be shooting until Christmas with zero breaks.
Riverdale is an American teen drama television series based on the characters of Archie Comics. It was originally released on January 26th, 2017. It has 4 seasons with 76 episodes in total at present.
The series follows the plot of Archie Andrews’ life in the small town of Riverdale. It explores the darkness hidden behind its seemingly perfect image.
The cast of the series includes
KJ APA as Archie Andrews, Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper, Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge, and Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones as main characters. It also includes a lot of other casts too.
Lili’s return to shooting for Riverdale
She is all set to begin her shooting of the remaining episodes of the Riverdale series season 4 in Canada.
Lili will be kept in quarantine for two weeks post which she will be shooting until Christmas with no breaks in between.
The actress recently wrote about returning to the season 4 shooting. She also spoke of her fight with anxiety and depression at the beginning of the pandemic.
Lili got to know that she has to travel to Canada in order to shoot the last three episodes for the season in August.
She said “We stopped during the prom episode, so I have to fit back in at the prom dress. Five months later, we’re all going to be tan, maybe a bit thicker. I certainly am.”
In the statement given by her, she talks about the difficulties of tan and weight gain that she is facing.
Will she be free after shooting the remaining three episodes?
The answer to this question is, unfortunately, no. After the completion of the shooting of these three episodes, the tapping for season 5 will begin. This means she will have to stay in Canada for shooting with no breaks until Christmas.
Lili feels like a Prisoner
Lili Reinhart said- “I genuinely feel like a prisoner, going back to work, because I cannot leave Canada. That doesn’t feel good. You can’t go home for Thanksgiving and visit your family.”
No breaks for her until Christmas is frustrating her to the core. But despite the frustration, she feels lucky to still have work amidst the pandemic.
“I m very lucky but it’s like I need to keep going,” says the Riverdale actress Lili.
Riverdale fans and audiences are waiting to see new episodes of season 4.
Wishing good luck to the Riverdale team.
