Sara Haines returns to ABC’s ‘The View’: American television host Sara Haines is all set to return to the panel as co-host in ABC’s The View. The show is scheduled to return next week for its Season 24 premiere.

The View: Host

Sara was the host for the Emmy-award winning daytime talk show for its seasons 20 and 21 from 2016 through 2018 and is very excited to re-join the talk show. She joined the network’s GMA 3: Strahan, Sara, and Keke. She has also filled in from time to time following the departure of Abby Huntsman for the show.

“I grew up watching ‘The View,’ and what this show stands for — different women, different backgrounds and different points of view — just speaks to my soul,” Haines, 42, said in the show’s press release on Friday. She said in an interview that it was a great honor for her to be back in the show and catch a shooting star twice.

The View: Launching

Season 24 will launch next week with the majority of co-hosts appearing from their homes. Meanwhile, Haines will be live-streaming from the show’s New York City studio.

The crew is looking forward to having Sara on the show.                                 Executive producer Brian Teta said that Sara had always been a part of ‘The View’ and the show can’t wait to welcome her again and feel her warmth.

In an interview, senior executive producer Hilary Estey McLoughlin said that Haines “is great in either place, which is rare to have somebody who is able to deal with such complex topics that we talk about on The View, and give a perspective that is smart. She brings a lot of zest to the conversation, in addition to being very relatable at the same time.”
