Reportedly, Jack White will be performing as musical guest on Saturday Night Live on October 10, following a end moment replacement of singer Morgan Wallen, he was initially booked for the show but later rejected as he violated the coronavirus infection safety regulations.

The news surfaced as the creator of the show Saturday Night Live announced on a news channel that, Jack White will perform on October 10th show, accompanied by comedian host Bill Burr and many other surprise guests.
This performance is going to be the third time solo appearance of Mr White and fourth time appearance so far. Jack White performed on Saturday Night Live as a frontman of The White Stripes. Earlier this week the band made an official announcement about the release of The White Stripes Greatest Hits on 4th Dec, 2020.
Morgan Wallen was criticised and dismissed from the team of Saturday Night Live as a video of him got viral on Tik Tok in which he was not wearing a mask at a party. The viral video was filmed days prior the country singer was slated for Saturday Night Live rehearsals. In the video Morgan Wallen was seen joining a crowded party maskless and kissing a woman who is also without mask. Later, he recorded an apology video and posted it on Instagram. The party which Morgan Wallen attended was highly criticised for not maintaining social distance and skipping to wear masks. The party was held in Alabama for celebrating victory of a college football game in Tuscaloosa. Morgan Wallen said he was not even tested positive for the coronavirus infection.
The creator of the show, Lorne Michaels added that, the country singer will return to the show in sometime.
