Sex Education: Is Emma Mackey there in upcoming season 3? Updates!

Sex Education: The comedy-drama Netflix series which released last year in 2019 in the month of January is all ready to premiere its third run. The sex comedy and teen drama series Sex Education announced in the month of February that the creators have started working on the third season of the show.

RELEASE DATE

As of now, no official date has been announced as to when the season of the show will release. The second season of the series released just a year later the release of first season that is in January 2020. But due to the coronavirus pandemic, the audience should be ready to expect a delay this time. But we are sure and positive that the third part will release in the next year for sure.

CAST

The viewers of the popular show are eager to know if Emma Mackey will return to the season this time in the role of Maeve Wiley who is a social outcast and is not considered as a good girl. Although no fixed announcement regarding the cast of Sex Education has been made we can assume that she will surely return in the series.

Other than this, Asa Butterfield may also return in the role of Otis who is one of the main characters in the series. The character of Otis’ best friend who is gay will be played by the Scottish-Rwandan actor Ncuti Gatwa who played it in the first two seasons as well.

PLOT

At the end of the second run, we see some happy and some embarrassing and some shocking scenes as well, thus making it a rollercoaster ride for the audience. Eric and Adam confess their feelings to each other and start an official relationship. For Otis, the season ends on an embarrassing note as he delivers a weird speech before the college and mentions her ex-girlfriend in it.
