Showtime’s Shameless will begin shooting for its 11th and final season next week


Shameless is an American comedy-drama television series developed by John Wells which debuted on Showtime on January 9, 2011. It is an adaptation of Paul Abbott’s British series of the same name. The entire shooting of the series took place in Chicago and Los Angeles. Here’s all you want to know about Shameless Season 11.


Shameless Season 11: Release Date

Shameless Season 11 was announced just after the completion of Season 10. The official announcement was made in January 2020. The show was expected to release by summer 2020 but due to the prevailing situations, we can expect the next season to be dropping on our screens by January 2021 as filming just resumed. We will have to brace ourselves until the world becomes fully functional.

To all the fans out there waiting for the upcoming season, here’s good news for you. The show makers have given a green light to the next season. Cameras will be rolling for Showtime Shameless Season 11 on September 8, 2020, which means we can anticipate the season by mid-2021.

The story revolves around a poor family

Frank Gallagher and his six children who don’t like him. Due to the fact he doesn’t spend most of the time at home, his children get to live independently.

Season 11 features alike a story with Ian (Cameron Monaghan) battle story and Mickey’s dad Terry is against the question of succeeding.

Shameless is known for its sprawling ensemble cast. The Gallaghers and their significant others still have a lot of loose ends to tie. We have the following characters to have a setback in the upcoming season:

Noel Fisher and Cameron Monaghan will play newlyweds Mickey Milkovich (Noel Fisher) and Ian Gallagher (Cameron Monaghan).

Emmy Rossum will however not be seen in the season 11 this time. But yes, we have our other favorites returning with a wedding being featured this season too.
