Shrill Season 3: The American comedy web television series Shrill is produced by Warner Bros. Television. It is an adaptation from the non-fiction book by Lindy West, Shrill: Notes from a Loud Woman. And the third season of the series is on its way.


The first episode of Shrill aired on Hulu on March 15, 2019, although it was already confirmed in 2018. The series was renewed for season 2 on April 15, 2019, and it premiered on January 24, 2020. Confirmed for a third season on March 31, 2020, it is now much-awaited by the fans.


Shrill Season 3: Release Date

The outbreak of Coronavirus has halted a lot of things going around in the world and the entertainment industry is one of the impacted areas. The filming for Season 3 began earlier this year and now has come to rest due to the pandemic.

There is now a new update about the official release date yet. And because of the current situations, it can not be predicted when the shooting will resume. However, the season may premiere in late 2021 or early 2022.

Shrill Season 3: Plot

The show is about a girl named Annie who is obese. She wants to transform her life but is not bothered by her body. She is trying to make a career as a journalist. She comes across a lot of issues in her way:  bad boyfriends, sick parents, and a perfectionist boss.

The second season ended with Annie’s breakup and an in-office hook-up that jeopardizes her career. The third might follow this story. Annie might face difficulties because of being an overweight woman and might explore her dating life as well.
