Stumptown Season 2: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there have been delays and pauses in the production of many films and tv series. Same thing has occurred with the ‘Stumptown’ Season 2. It been postponed because of the production delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

About Stumptown

The first episode was aired on 25th September 2019, almost a year from now. The episode which the fans saw last was on 25th March,2020.

The pandemic has made it difficult to continue with the series.

Plot

Stumptown is based on the graphic novels of the same name. It follows a plot consisting of a strong, sharp witted Army veteran- Dex Parios. Not only she has a complicated love life, but also a gambling debt and a brother to take care of a brother. What makes her a great private investigator is her military intelligence skills but its her unapologetic style that makes her in a league of her own. She lands with the firing line of the hardcore criminals even while not being in alliance with the basic local rules of the police.

The show was created by Jason Richman. The writers of the novel series were Ruben Fleischer and David Bernad. Producer of this includes Mathew Southworth and Justin Greenwood.

Cast and characters

Cobie Smulders as Dex Parios, Jake Jonhson as Grey McConnell, Tantoo Cardinal as Sue Lynn Blackbird, Cole Sibus as Ansel Parios  are some of the casts of this show.

Stumptown Season 2 delayed or cancelled

ABC has opted not to move forward with the second season as it was planned. This happened due to timing and scheduling needs for the current season that have been harshly impacted by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Other Postpones due to COVID-19

While this drama is currently the latest series to get its renewal reversed as the pandemic continues to ruin the entertainment industry, there are some other shows. Netflix had previously pulled the plug on both- “I am not okay with this” and “The Society” in August.

Release date

There are no official announcements of when it will be released but all the fans can di is wait until this blockbuster series arises.
