Supergirl is a superhero American series. It is developed by Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Ali Adler. It originally aired firstly on CBS on 26th October 2015. The series is based on the character created by Al Plastino and Otto Binder for DC comics. Starring Melissa Benoist set in the Arrowverse. After the Season 2 the series released on The CW. Renewal Status of Supergirl

The CW renewed the series for Season 6 in January 2020. After which the productions begin in October. It is said to be the final season of Supergirl. And only 20 episodes are going to be there in the final season.

Release Date

After the renewal in January, the productions begin in October because of the COVID. No confirmed release date is out yet. However, it might release in mid-2021 or late 2021. But let’s wait for a confirmed release date.

Productions

The productions begin on 13th October 2020 months after the renewal. The delay was all because of COVID and even in September, delayed shooting to October 2020. Benoist returns to shooting in January 2021 and till then everything was going without her. Supergirl Season 6 is expected to conclude its filming on 6th August 2021.
