‘The Batman’ Resumes Production: Reportedly, The Batman will be resuming its shoot in the UK after the production was halted as Robert Pattinson was tested positive for coronavirus. However, the star yet hasn’t officially confirmed his positive test.

As per the sources, the production for batman is resuming without Batman himself (Robert Pattinson) as he has isolated himself in-home quarantine for 14 days. An insider stated, “Anything that can be shot and does not involve Pattinson will now go ahead”. Moreover, it is speculated that the director of the film, Matt Reeves is expected to use Robert’s body double for the scenes where Bruce Wayne or his Dark Knight alter ego are present.

The director added that: Production staff and crew members are working hard to make things possible and filming to take place with the safety of all.

According to the sources, At the start of the week, the actor arrived on set and his body temperature was above normal so he was sent back home and instructed to go for the COVID-19 test. His test results were positive and immediately the production was halted.

The set’s budget was already costly and the makers couldn’t afford to keep it closed for more two weeks. Hence, the director decided to resume the shooting without Robert Pattinson. Keeping the main objective in mind, to wrap some shots before the actor’s arrival and none of the other actors gets the virus.

Opposite to this news, according to the trade paper’s source, the shooting will be halted for at least two weeks as cast and crew members, who came directly in contact with the actor have isolated themselves and entered 14 days quarantine.
