CAN THE BATMAN REACH THE HEIGHTS OF THE DARK KNIGHT?

When Ben Affleck decided to depart the world of Batman after such a brief stint with the role, it looked like a significant blow to the long run of the DC Extended Universe, but the corporate has bounced back magnificently.
Robert Pattinson is taking up the role of billionaire socialite Bruce Wayne who watches over the streets of Gotham City at the hours of darkness as terrifying crime fighter Batman.
Some fans were skeptical about this news, thanks to the polarising nature of Pattinson’s early work on Twilight, but his recent performances in crime thriller experience and surreal horror flick The Lighthouse proved he has the acting chops to tug this off.
It is also comforting to know that Matt Reeves will be the director. He is coming from a two truly excellent Planet of the Apes movies starring Andy Serkis, with whom he reunites on The Batman.
