After almost a year since the three seasons of The Fall were removed from Netflix US. Since then fans have been wanting to know if it will be returning to Netflix anytime soon. The fans of the crime drama series can rejoice as it is set to arrive from 1st August.
About the series The Fall –
The Fall is a thriller series set in Northern Ireland, created and written by Allan Cubitt. Formerly a Netflix original, the series became extremely popular amongst the audiences.
The show revolves around Metropolitan Police Superintendent Stella Gibson, who is sent to the city of Belfast, Northern Ireland. A murder investigation that remained active for more than 28 days, was assigned to her. Once it becomes apparent that a serial killer is on the loose, Stella must capture Paul Spector, who is targeting young professional women.
When is the series The Fall coming to Netflix?
The crime thriller starring Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan originally aired between 2013 and 2016. The show gained universal acclaim and had been listed for the Best Drama at the National Television Awards.
Now, all three of its seasons will be available to watch on Netflix from 1st August. The streaming giant’s UK & Ireland Twitter account revealed this news and wrote – ” All 3 seasons of The Fall are coming to Netflix on 1 August if you’re into Jamie Dornan, Gillian Anderson, moody thrillers, the accents, or all of the above.”
Along with Anderson and Dornan, the series has an ensemble cast over three seasons which includes Colin Morgan (Tom Anderson), John Lynch (Jim Burns), Aisling Franciosi (Katie Benedetto) among many others.
The series has also been remade into French, titled as Insoupçonnable. The Fall has also been broadcasted in various locations across the world.
Currently, we can also stream the series on Amazon Prime Video. But it remains to be seen whether it’ll remain or will be removed after its addition to Netflix.
