The Matrix 4 – When is it releasing? What all information we have until now?

The Matrix 4 is an upcoming American sci-fi action movie. It is among the most anticipated movies for next year since the release was announced n July 2019. It is the fourth part of the Matrix sequel. Lana Wachowski is the director and co-writer of this new chapter of The Matrix franchise. So keep reading to know more about The Matrix 4 –




Initially, the release date was scheduled for May 21, 2021, in the US and UK. But then it clashed with the dates of Reeve’s John Wick 4. Ultimately, Matrix fans won and John Wick fans will have to wait for another year. But because of the global pandemic, the filming and production process was delayed which further pushed the release date to April 1, 2021. So let us hook on to April 1, 2021, as the official release date.


The filming for the movie started back in February 2020 in San Francisco. However, the work was put on halt after the coronavirus outbreak in March. The shooting was then shifted to Berlin for the next phase. Shooting resumed in early July and is still under process.


Here is the great news- Despite the death of Neo and Trinity in The Matrix Revolutions, they will return to play their characters in the fourth installment. The scenario will be revealed only after we watch the movie. So as we have our interest building for this let us get to know the entire cast for the movie –
