The documentary is directed by  R.J. Cutler and produces in collaboration with Interscope Records, Lighthouse Management & Media, and Billie Eilish production house. The film is an original apple film.

In 2019 Billie Eilish debuted with her album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? And we all know what happened after this. She won best new artist, the album of the Year, Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album at this year’s 62nd Grammy, and her stunning performance at the 92nd Oscar The Beatles’ “Yesterday.” 

According to the Recording Industry Association of America, Billie Eilish is the 23rd biggest artist of the digital singles era, with 37.5 million singles sold stateside.
