‘Unbelievable’ star Kaitlyn Dever to star in Hulu’s ‘Dopesick’ limited series

Dopesick is Hulu’s limited series written by Danny Strong. Barry Levinson is the director of the eight episodes Dopesick. In addition, John Goldwyn, Warren Littlefield, Beth Macy, and Karen Rosenfelt are the executive producers. The series is based on the bestselling book of Beth Macy of the same name. The upcoming Hulu limited series is scheduled to premiere next year in 2021.

The storyline of Dopesick:

The upcoming series Dopesick will portray the struggle of America with opioid addiction. There are speculations that the series will focus on all the heroes that battled against the worst drug epidemic in America. Also, many stories of the affected families will also be shown in the series.

Kaitlyn Dever to star in Dopesick:

Kaitlyn Dever will be portrayed as Betsy in the upcoming Hulu series Dopesick. Betsy is actually a proud female coal miner. Also, she seems to be a patient of Keaton’s Dr Finnix. Furthermore, it seems that they have a close relationship that gets tested with the upcoming of  OxyContin. OxyContin is nothing but a new painkiller. So it is being confirmed by TheWrap that Kaitlyn Dever will play a role opposite Michael Keaton in Dopestick, the opioid crisis drama.

Other than Dever and Keaton, Peter Sarsgaard will also play a lead role in Dopesick. He will be portrayed as Rick Mountcastle who is an assistant US attorney. Undoubtedly, the news of Kaitlyn Dever’s role in the upcoming Hulu series was first reported by Deadline.

Kaitlyn Dever’s role in Unbelievable was nominated for Golden Globe and BAFTA. Furthermore, Kaitlyn will play a role in HBO’s Coastal Elites that is scheduled to premiere on 12th September. In addition, on 2nd October Hulu’s Monsterland featuring Kaitlyn Dever will be out. Presently, Dever is featuring in Dear Evan Hansen.
