What McG said about a third movie after The Babysitter: Killer Queen? Will the series get the renewal?
The first film The Babysitter by McG was certainly a hit show on Netflix. And recently a sequel for the same was released on Netflix. Though fans did not find it as fun as the original one was. Nevertheless, the sequel reunited Judah Lewis, Samara Weaving and Emily Alyn Lind. The sequel to The Babysitter brought a new character, Phoebe. Also in the sequel, Melanie was portrayed as the villain. And all this creates a hollow feeling among the fans of The Babysitter. Surely, the original film The Babysitter had more fun-filled elements than the sequel has brought in.
McG told CBR that he has plans for the third film. If The Babysitter: Killer Queen succeeds in gaining a huge fan base then he will definitely like to conclude Cole’s narrative arc. He further added that it was fun creating the twists in the sequel and he has got more plans for the trilogy ender.
There is a possibility that McG might bring a whole new set of characters in the third film. Because in the second movie Bee and her crew of teenage demons were all perished. Also, there is a possibility that Cole might get involved in the Cult. And the reason for this is that in the ending of The Babysitter: Killer Queen we saw that after sleeping with Phoebe, he is no longer considered innocent.
