The Winds of Winter is the planned sixth novel by the American writer George R. R. Martin in the epic fantasy series A Song of Ice and Fire.
Martin claims over 3,000 manuscript pages total over the last two volumes of the book. They will bring readers further north than either of the previous novels, and the Others will include the first of the two. Martin has withheld hard figures for the novel’s final release date.
Release date and cast
The air was packed with a rumor that in July 2020 Martin will release the book. But last year Martin said he will be able to complete The Winds of Winter in time for this year’s New Zealand scheduled to start on July 29, 2020, and end on August 2, 2020. The wait for ‘The Winds Of Winter’ will soon be over and the novel will most probably be written digitally by this year. There’s no official statement yet about the release date for Winds of Winter.
Characters of the book The Winds of Winter, include Sansa Stark, Arya Stark, Arianne Martell, Aeron Greyjoy, Theon Greyjoy, Victarion Greyjoy, Tyrion Lannister, Barristan Selmy.
Plot and more
The expected Winds of Winter combat left the unanswered thread and confused the readers more. In the very beginning, George R. R. Martin will solve these threads, he says, “I’m going to start with the two major battles I’ve been building up to, the fight on the ice and the fight at Meereen — the battle at Slaver’s Bay. And then take it from there.” Also the last ‘A Dream of Spring’ will be published after The Winds Of Winter has been published, thus completing the ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’ collection.
