Euphoria Season 2: It is an American teen drama television series developed by Sam Levinson. It is based on the Israeli miniseries is the same name. The series follows a group of high school students and the occurrences of sex, drugs, friendships, love, identity, and trauma in their lives.
Euphoria received nominations for the TCA Award for Outstanding Achievement In Drama and the British Academy Television Award for Best International Programme. The series got positive reviews from the critics for its storyline, performances, and cinematography. Although, it also faced many controversies due to its nudity and sexual content, which some critics found it to be excessive.
The Bad News for Euphoria fans is :
Euphoria Season 2 isn’t coming any time soon as the series suspended its production in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While the story of the entire season is written. Zendaya stated that, “in order to do it the way we went to do it, we need to wait until things are safer”, On a show Wednesday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, where she was a guest, she also told the host that, ’they’re trying to figure out how eventually they’ll be able to create a season two that they’re proud of and make the best out of it what they want, while also being safe’.
So, here comes the Good News for Euphoria fans:
The team of Euphoria, including creator Sam Levinson, is considering filming a “bridge episode”. Zendaya also stated that ‘they can do with a limited amount of people something because they also miss Euphoria as the people who create it, and everyone too who’s loving the show a little something so they have something to live on until they’re able to start the filming of Euphoria Season 2’.
The show will be making a bridge episode, of a group of teens making a socially distance friendly Tik-Tok.
