India's Cloud market gets interesting as Airtel-Amazon team up to take on Jio-Microsoft

Airtel is now in a partnership with Amazon to give a tough competition to the Jio-Microsoft partnership. This partnership will tend to bring in more Cloud services for the companies in India.

The Jio-Microsoft has its Cloud platform which is named Microsoft Azure. On the other hand, Microsoft and Amazon are battling on the cloud market with the data storage demands. This partnership of the Airtel and Amazon will play a bigger role to bring 5G networks in India. Also, Airtel and Reliance Jio will fight a battle for the best telecom services for the users.

The average return per user (ARPU) gauge the wide availability of a network, enterprise businesses are where the margins are better. And, the cloud market is expected to be worth nearly $8 billion in another three years. Now Aitel is using Amazon to attract people to their network. And they also ensure that this will help them to gain more subscribers as compared to Jio.

In July Airtel has invested its money in the US-based Carlyle Group named Nyx. They have invested around $235 million for 25% of the stake of the Nyxtra. Nyxtra has also 10 large data centers in India and 120 small data centers in local areas. Airtel has also created its network Cloud platform. now they are giving their platform to Amazon to develop their cloud platform. They had already gained about 2500 large enterprises in total. And a million small and medium enterprises (SME).

There is a big competition between Airtel and Jio for bringing a 5g network in India. While Jio has already said that they are waiting for the auction from the government regarding 5G. So Airtel has to buckle up the speed of making their won 5G airwaves.
