Ghost Of Tsushima!: Well, the world is filled with innovative minds. So, now a YouTuber has found out a way through which he can play Ghost of Tsushima using a PS2 controller which is quite old.
The Ghost of Tsushima is an action-adventure game. The game was developed by Sucker Punch Productions. This open-world features a samurai whose motive is to protect the island Tsushima. The island was invaded by the first Mongol of Japan. The game was launched on 17 July 2020.
A YouTuber Super Louis 64 has managed to find a way using which he turned the immersion to 11 by modding the old motion-controlled PS2 controller in order to make it work with the PS4 exclusive.
The controller was originally launched along with the PS2 back in 2004. This controller houses a Dual-Shock controller along with analog sticks. The face buttons are split evenly between the front and the rear grip of the hilt of the sword. This then activates the triangle button with a swing of the sword. Therefore, this will work as the right off the bat of Sekiro.
Here is the YouTube video: The Katana Controller: Ghost of Tsushima
However, the analogue stick was not capable to detect the motion correctly. This, then left every swing feeling a bit janky. Well, it is quite obvious why the YouTuber modded Katana. He knew that this experiment might make him lose his honor. He, however, managed to map every light attack of Ghost of Tsushima into a real-world swing. Well, it is quite impressive to see that he managed to get the heavy attack of the game, sword sheathing and a good chance to work with the controller.
Ghost of Tsushima is playable on the PS4.
