Asus is in the race to ship first gaming monitor with HDMI 2.1!

The Asus Republic of Gamers (ROG) has finally come up with another announcement for their fans. They will be bringing a 43-inch gaming monitor which is the first monitor to get HDMI 2.1 certified. This monitor has therefore passed all the compatibility a validation test that were conducted by the leading Allion Labs, Inc. Allion Labs, Inc is an international company which is known for its product testing.

This upcoming monitor will be also compatible with the next-Gen consoles. The HDMI 2.1 will be giving it a bandwidth up to 48 Gbps, which will be supporting 4K UHD (3840 X 2160) visuals with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Well, this really sounds so tempting. The game console will also be allowed to control the processing mode of the display with the help of Auto Low Latency.

Tests conducted by Allion Labs

Allion Labs conducted the following tests for the monitor: Stringent Fixed-rate Link (FRL) tests- FRL Electrical, FRL Pixel Decoding, and FRL Protocol Tests. These tests were done to see whether the monitor is HDMI 2.1 compatible or not. Brian Shish, the Vice President of Logo & HW Validation Consulting at Allion Labs said that ROG is the first partner with HDMI 2.0 certified. He also said that it’s their mission to assure the product or services before they are released.

Well, this holiday season will be coming with a lot more and one more thing has been added to that list. Asus will be releasing a collection of HDMI 2.1  gaming monitors this holiday. These monitors will be available in three different sizes- 27-, 32- and 43-inch monitors.

ROG is known as the leading gaming monitor brand in India. And, ROG has always been pushing their limits to fulfill the needs of the gamers. Also, ROG was the first brand to come up with ROG Swift PG43UQ 4K 144 Hz Digital Stream Compression (DSC) gaming monitor and ROG Swift 360 Hz gaming monitor.

Well, the price and further details related to the gaming monitor is still unknown.

The ASUS Republic of Gamers monitors with HDMI 2.1 compatibility will be released at the end of the year.
