Zombies Onslaught is a fast-paced two-player survival mode. In this mode, the players will have to face a seemingly never-ending and difficult group of zombies. These hordes of zombies are forced to move through the several points in the map, as said by post. These zombies are combined with the normal multiplayer component of Black Ops Cold War. You will unlock several rewards while playing the Zombies Onslaught which will also be applied across the multiplayer and Zombies play.

Activision further confirmed that the rest of the Black Ops Cold War will be supporting cross-play and cross-generation play. However, the Black Ops Cold War’s Zombies Onslaught mode will be limited to the PlayStation consoles for a complete year. Last year, Activision did same with the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare by making Spec Ops Survival mode exclusive for the PS4 for a year. Sony and Activision have a deal for PlayStation exclusive Call of DUty content for several years. The deal started with the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 which was launched back in 2015.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will be launched on November 13, 2020. The game will be playable on the PS4, PC and Xbox One. However, the game will be playable on the next-gen consoles like PS5 and Xbox Series X.
