Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War

The Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War beta has officially started. And unlike the previous versions, this beta test will be playable in the PS4, Xbox One and PC. This beta test is available on the PS4 whereas the two days of the test are exclusive for the users of Xbox One and PC who have pre-ordered the test. Also, the beta version will be playable for all the customers regardless of the ones who have pre-ordered. This open beta will be starting on Saturday, October 17. This version will be available until Monday, October 19. 

The beta version of Call of Duty: Black Ops ColdWar also supports crossplay. This will let you play with the players on any platform. Activision also confirmed the pre-loading for the PS4, Xbox One and PC which is available now. However, the franchise further confirmed that what all we should expect in the beta version. Also, this is the first time when the players will be able to test the game on all the platforms. Well, not all the players will get the beta access automatically.

Well, the idea of pre-loading is quite good considering the huge file size. The file size of Call of Duty: Black Ops ColdWar beta for PS4 is 31 GB, for Xbox One is 20.5 GB and for PC is 42.2 GB.

The Call of Duty: Black Ops ColdWar beta can be pre0loaded right now and you will not require and code for this. Also, the players who have already taken part in the first beta weekend will not need to download the client again.

Beginning Time of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War beta test

The Black Ops ColdWar Weekend 2 beta will start at 10 AM PT on Thursday, October 15. The PS4 users will get to enter the beta at this time. Whereas, the Xbox One and PC users will require to pre-order the game to start playing the beta version.

On October 17, the beta test will be made available to everyone regardless of the pre-order status. This will be available until October 19. Also, Xbox Live Gold is necessary for the Xbox One users and Battle.net account is needed for the PC players.

Beta Content of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War

The Call of Duty: Black Ops ColdWar beta will also support crossplay between all the platforms. The players will also get to try out the specific maps. A variety of 6v6 modes and a new 12v12 Combined Arms and the 40-player Fireteam: Dirty Bomb modes are also available.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will officially launch on November 13. The game will be playable on the PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game will also arrive on the PS5 and Xbox Series X.
