Cyberpunk 2077 is an upcoming action role-playing game. It is being developed by CD Projekt Red.

CEO Marcin Iwinski of the studio said that the biggest challenge that they are facing right now is shipping the game on current-gen, next-gen and PC at the same time. This needs them to prepare and test 9 versions of it which consist of Stadia and backwards compatible versions. Also, Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be a next-gen title which means that they will have to check everything so that the game can run perfectly and smoothly.
Recently, Cyberpunk 2077 went gold which means that the game is ready and completed with some remaining fixes to be made. Even after all the work being done, the studio is trying their best to improve the quality as much as possible.
Well, with this decision by CD Projekt Red, Cyberpunk 2077 is being delayed for the third time. The game was originally slated to be arriving in April and then it was pushed to September. However, the game was then pushed to November 19 and now it has been pushed to December. However, a delay of three-weeks doesn’t seem to be much and might not make any difference in such a huge and complex game.
CD Projekt Red seems to improve the quality of the game even after adding all the content to deliver the best product to its customers. The team might be balancing the game mechanics and fixes several bugs.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on 10 December 2020. It will be playable on the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Google Stadia, Xbox One and PC.
