Destiny 2 is a free-to-play online-only multiplayer game. This is a first-person shooter game. The game was developed by Bungie. Destiny 2 was launched on September 6, 2017, for the PS4 and Xbox One. And made its debut on the Windows on October 24, 2017. Well, now Bungie is trying to punch out a bunch of planets out of their game.
With the arrival of Destiny 2: Beyond Light, Mercury, Mars, Titan, and Io will be erased from the map of the game. Therefore, the quests and storylines related to them are no longer valuable. And because of their departure, a modder has reconstructed a significant chunk of Mars for Garry’s Mod.
Quantum on Reddit said:
Destiny 2 will be moving Mars and the other planets to the Destiny Content Vault on 10th November, this year.
Well, you can look into and download the complete map on the Steam Workshop. As we see that only the northern part of the map has been included, but Quantum086 wanted to make the complete map of Mars. But because of some object limitations, he could do this much only. Also, a lot of Hive corruption around the Braytech facility had to be removed because of some asset limitations.
A recreation of the part of Mars was a gesture of Farewell to the most huge parts of the destinations of the game.
Will these planets ever return?
The company might have decided about the departure of the four planets, but it hasn’t spoken a word about their return. Therefore, it remains unknown whether these destinations will ever return to the game or not.
Well, Quantum has worked really hard on creating the map, but the details are really very deep and are quite difficult to be completely replicated.
Destiny 2 is playable on the PS4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, and Google Stadia. Also, the development of the game for the next-Gen consoles, PS5 and Xbox Series X is ongoing. Therefore, the game will be arriving in the next-Gen consoles too.
