The fourth year of Destiny 2 is about to begin in a month. Well, it will be celebrated hugely this time. Destiny 2: Beyond Light is the upcoming major expansion for the shooter MMO of Bungie. It is slated to be released on November 10 which will be introducing a new era for the game. The expansion will be consisting of a new campaign, locations and several smaller changes.
Beyond Light is currently up for pre-order on the PS4, Xbox One, Steam and Stadia. The game will arrive on the PS5 as well as Xbox Series X. This time also, the game will be coming up with several different editions.
Season 11 is known as Season of Arrivals which was kicked off in Destiny 2 back in June. The season continues the story of the Guardian in the battle that is ongoing to protect humanity. The events that will be taking place in Season 11 will be leading to something new. We will be seeing a new power emerging from the ancient pyramid ship above Europe. We also saw the frozen moon of Jupiter, the Guardians will be called to investigate its harsh frontier, infiltrate the Golden Age Braytech facility and find out the secrets hidden in the Beyond Light.
A Livestream was held which confirmed that the next major expansion will arrive after the launch of Beyond Light. Witch Queen is expected to arrive in 2021 whereas Lightfall will arrive in 2022. The next expansion will bring a new era in Destiny as claimed by Bungie.
Bungie also announced that the gamers who own the PS4 and Xbox One version of the game will get the PS5v and the Xbox Series X version for free.
Destiny 2: Beyond Light will be playable on the PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game will also arrive on the next-gen consoles- Xbox Series X and the PlayStation 5.
