Destiny 2: Beyond Light is an upcoming major expansion for Destiny 2. It is a first-person shooter game developed by Bungie. The game is expected to launch on November 10, 2020. It is the fifth expansion of Destiny 2.


Release Date and Pre-Order Details: Destiny 2: Beyond Light

Beyond Light will arrive at Destiny 2 on November 10. Destiny 2 is available now on the Xbox Game Pass for Xbox One and Beyond Light will be arriving at Microsoft’s subscription service on day one. So, if you already own the Xbox Game Pass subscription then you don’t need to purchase the game.


However, there are various versions of Beyond Light which you will be receiving once you pre-order the expansion. The standard edition is available for $40 which consists of the base game Destiny 2.

For a price of $50, you can get the expansion and a season pass. After purchasing this you can get access to more content and will allow you to earn rewards more quickly. When you pre-order these editions you will also receive some in-game goodies which consist of a Ghost shell and the Stranger’s Weapon Pack. This comes with the No Time to Explain Exotic Pulse Rifle and its Exotic catalyst.

The Digital Deluxe Edition will cost you $70. The deluxe edition consists of the expansion, the season pass, soundtrack of Beyond Light, an emote, a Ghost shell, an emblem and a sparrow.

Also, there is a Stranger edition which will cost you $130. In this edition, you will receive the Digital Deluxe Edition with a 10-inch physical statue of Exo Stranger character.

The final and the most involved edition is the Collector’s Edition. This Edition consists of the Digital Deluxe Edition, a die-cast Splinter of Darkness replica that lights up, a Europa-themed messenger bag and canteen, something known as the mysterious logbook.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light is playable on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PS5, Google Stadia, PS4, Xbox One and PC.
