Less than 2 weeks have passed since the showcase of Codemasters of an early build of the next DIRT 5. There are many issues that need to be cleared before the release of the game which will now take place on November, 6. Well, now the developers have delayed the release of the game by one month.
DIRT 5 is an upcoming racing game. The game is being developed and published by the Codemasters. The initial release date was October 16, 2020. However, it has been shifted to a new date on November 6, 2020.
On September 7, Codemasters revealed that they have decided to postpone DIRT 5 to a new date for release on Friday, November 6. At this game, the game will be launched for PS4, PC, and Xbox One. In its statements, Codemasters claimed that they have done this to launch all the versions of the game in a shorter time frame.
The chief executive officer at Codemasters further added that DIRT 5 has received great critics and will also be receiving the Gamescom 2020 Best Racing Game Award. The new launch date will allow us to take the privilege of the launch of the next-Gen console launches. This is expected to take place during the holiday season.
In the past too, Codemasters have always been honest and open about the developments of the studio. Well, this news might have disappointed the fans but is a great news for the rival developers like KT Racing, whose latest title is WRC 9. This title will therefore get one more month for the show rally for their fans.
The people who will be getting the Amplified Edition of DIRT 5 will also get three-day early access. Therefore, hardcore fans can start playing on November 3.
DIRT 5 will be released on November 6. The game will be playable on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The game will also arrive for the Google Stadia.
