Everything you need to know about the new Star Wars: Squadrons released on Xbox, PS4, and PC

A further update on the Star Wars Squadrons has been provided by Andrew Johnson of EA. He updated us on the release date of the game on Steam and the Epic Games Store. He further confirmed the launch of the game on a different window for October 2, 2020.

About Star Wars: Squadrons

Star Wars is the upcoming game which is being developed by EA Motive. It is a 5v5 multiplayer game. There’s also going to be a campaign. The players are allowed to join the New Republic’s Vanguard Squadron or the Empire’s Titan Squadron.

The gameplay of Star Wars: Squadrons

The gameplay of Star Wars were revealed live on 18 June 2020. It is a single-player campaign and a 5v5 multiplayer game. Several different classes of starships are also present in the game. And each of them is capable of playing distinct roles. So, balance their power to win a fight.

Star Wars also supports full cross-play. Dogfight and Fleet Battles are the two multiplayer modes. Fighter, Support, Bomber and Interceptor are the four classes of starships.

The various components of the starship are as follows:
  • Primary Weapons
  • Auxiliary (x2)
  • Countermeasures
  • Hull
  • Shields
  • Engines

However, it has not been confirmed until now whether it will arrive on the Xbox Series X or not. 

According to the fans, Star Wars: Squadron is way far that the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order fans were looking for.

The events in the game take place after the events of Star Wars: The Return of the Jedi.

It is playable on the PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game is available for the PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
