FarmVille game closing its doors as 2020 ends

FarmVille is one of the first staple games of Facebook. Well, it is shutting down after 11 years. FarmVille was a contentious part of Facebook. It was one of the earliest gaming successes of the platform. So, it is the end of the era. Well, how good or bad was FarmVille depends upon whether you have played the game or not.

Facebook will end the support of Flash-based games by the end of the year. As said by Zynga, the creator in-game purchases will be available until November 17. Also, they are planning for some in-game events.

According, to some of the players they might feel that the game is stupid. However, some might also feel that the game is stupid but still cannot stop playing it. Sometimes, some users might have observed that their feeds were sunk in the achievements of Farmville.

It is an agriculture-simulation game. it was a social network game. The game was launched back on 19 June 2009. This game is somehow similar to Happy Farm and Farm Town. The gameplay consists of several aspects of farmland management like ploughing the land, planting, growing and harvesting crops and trees and raising livestock. It was playable on Android, iOS and Web browser.

This game was designed and developed to hook you. Well, it is not that Zynga will be leaving you out to dry completely. County Escape and Tropic Escape is still there for you. These games are created by the original creators of FarmVille.

Also, a bonus package is being offered by Zynga for the FarmVille players who are moving to Topic Estate. They also released FarmVille 3 last year. Well, you can call it soft-launched.

FarmVille will be permanently closing on December 31.
