During the Summer Games Fest, Hideo Kojima responded to his fan’s views on him being a prophet. Well, his response was charming as well as humorous. He said that if he was able to see the future, then Death Stranding would have been a lot more different. He added that he would have created a game that sold much better.

The Tweet:

According to the translator of the interview, Kojiama said that he was not a prophet. Because, if he was one then he would have created a game that would have sold more. Death Stranding is a polarizing game.

Hideo Kojima: He has always tried to cover the social issues with his game. Issues such as war, nuclear warheads, political dissension, love, kidnapping children, and even pandemic which is quite special. Even after the similarities between the story of Death Stranding and the current situation of the world, he considers it as coincident and just simple luck.

If he had the ability to tell the future, then the end of the game would have been a lot more different but a less creative experience. According to Kojima and his team, the best result would have been a game that speaks to the people and tops the charts of the sales. Well, in the case of Death Stranding, the game is better and is quite distinctive.
