How to use Baldur’s Gate 3 multiplayer properly? Know more!

Baldur’s Gate 3 is an upcoming role-playing game. It is being developed and published by Larian Studios. Baldur’s Gate III is the third title in the Baldur’s Gate series. the game is based on Dungeons & Dragons tabletop role-playing system.


The game can be played as a single-player RPG. You can your NPC companions can play the game on the co-op mode with a group of 2-4 players. The Multiplayer is, however, working on the Early Access version also.

How do you start the new multiplayer mode?

Hit the Multiplayer button from the main menu. After this, select the Create button which is placed at the bottom of the screen to create a lobby. When you are done with this change the “Who can join your game” setting to Invitation Only or Friends Only. After this click on the empty player boxes to invite players from your Steam friends list.

When you click the launch button everyone who’s connected will be sent to the character creation screen. So, get together and start the game.

When a player disconnects the game, you can control their character. The character assignment can be adjusted by the host by hitting Escape and then open the Session menu.

The host can save the game whenever he/she wants to. Then you can resume the game afterwards. 

How do you invite the players to a single-player game?

You can invite friends to join a single-player game that is in progress, rather than starting a new game together. Well, they will be able to control the companion characters rather than creating their custom characters.

Baldur’s Gate 3 will be launching on 6 October 2020. The game is playable on the Google Stadia and PC.
