Konami confirms P.T. cannot be downloaded on PS5

Silent Hill by Hideo Kojima will never be able to see the light of the day. The demo P.T. lives are going to face some problems in the hard drives of the horror fans everywhere. According to a teaser, the game will not be backwards compatible on the PS5 in any form.

Konami in an email to GamesRadar said that the title will not be available on the PS Store. Therefore the users will not be able to re-download their content through backwards compatibility feature to their PS5 console.

P.T. is a first-person psychological horror game. The game was developed by Kojima Productions. The title was launched on 12 August 2014. It is a survival horror game. P.T. uses a first-person perspective. The game revolves around an unnamed protagonist who wakes up in a concrete-lined room and opens a door to a haunted never-ending corridor. The hallway keeps on looping and redecorated itself. You will find several horror creatures and ghosts on your way. Your main goal is to escape the place and survive the horrifying experience.

Silent Hill is considered to be one of the most influential horror games of the 2010s. Because of its removal from the PlayStation Store in 2015, P.T. continues to be a topic to study.

At the time of launch, the game saw millions of downloads. Therefore, it saw massive success. Despite the removal of the game from the PlayStation Store, it was able to gain the title of one of the coolest and fascinating games in the history of the gaming industry.

Well, fans are hoping to get their hands on this game. Also, it is unsure whether the game was a teaser or a demo.

P.T. is playable on the PlayStation 4.
