Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit has once again put Nintendo into its weird side. It is much like what we saw with the other Nintendo Switch experiences like the Labo and Ring Fit Adventure. This game will be bringing Mario Kart to live for you. Mario Kart: Home Circuit is currently available for pre-order at Walmart and will be releasing on October 16.
Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit will be available in two distinct sets. One of the sets is the Mario RC kart and another is with Luigi. Each of the sets will come with four checkpoint gates, a USB-C charging cable, and two arrow signboards in order to power the kart. The game will be free for download from the eShop.
Gameplay: Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit
The kart will be mounted with a camera which will be keeping a track of your progress. Your process will therefore be recorded as you drive around your room with your Switch. Well, you can also get creative with your track. You have room to move the checkpoint gates around freely. The movement of the kart will be appearing on the screen of your Switch. Along with the track, several other elements will be present on your screen like the boost pads, items, and defined tracks limits. The kart will be reactive to the obstacles and the power-ups present in the game. Therefore, if you get a boost then your kart will speed up and if you crash against any obstacles then your kart will stop.
You can work to unlock the new course customization features and costumes. However, you can also play the Grand Prix mode against the Koopalings.
The game also supports four-player multiplayer. The cost of the Mario Kart Home Circuit- Mario and Luigi set is $100.
Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit will be playable on the Nintendo Switch. However, the game is currently available for pre-order on Walmart.
