Medal of Honor has been an FPS franchise in a requirement of a revival. However, the revival is just a few months away from us. Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond is a VR-exclusive. The game will be released this holiday season. However, Facebook and Oculus confirmed that the official release date will be December 11.
This news was announced during the Connect conference of Facebook along with the major VR-related announcements. Some major announcements were done which consist of Oculus Quest 2.
The game will be available on the Oculus Store and Steam. This will be featuring two modes: single-player as well as a multiplayer mode for the players. However, this is not going to be a typical war game.
Respawn hasn’t spoken much about the multiplayer game. Well, the game is set in the second world war. Well, the game will be collecting the actual time, setting and will be taking the experience from the people who were actually there. The veterans were interviewed and this is why it took even more time for the development of the game. Therefore, the company is trying their best to give their players the best experience possible.
Respawn further reminded the players how will their multiplayer experience look like. So, this game is going to be a memorable one for the players. And, Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond is going to be worth the money giving the greatest experience of the story.
So, Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond is an Oculus funded title. This game will be launched on 11 December via Steam as well as Oculus Store. The Steam version will however not require a Facebook login. Therefore, Steam and Rift users cannot send direct invited to each other. However, they can find each other in public matchmaking.
