NHL 21 Release Date and Cover Star Revealed!

NHL 21, is the 30th title in the EA Sports’ annual hockey franchise. This is expected to release on 16th October for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Well, the above announcement was made by the publisher Electronic Arts on Monday.

As soon as the heat starts to rise for the post-season, NHL, EA Sports dropped the official announcement for NHL 21. This title will be delivering the major career mode changes, a new Ultimate Team mode, and elite skill moves that came into light in the game like Michigan. The trailer above gives us short glimpses about the gameplay of NHL 21. The trailer also revealed the release date of NHL 21.

Alexander Ovechkin is the cover star for NHL 21 this time. Previously also he was honored the cover star in NHL 07. Ovechkin is one of the best NHL players and has engraved a huge mark on the sport and culture that revolve around it.

Be A Pro

NHL 21 is looking forward to giving the users a fresh feel for the series by introducing Be a Pro mode. However, the developer team has spent a lot of time and effort on this. You will be able to notice that now the menu screen is simplified and streamlined. All the important bits are shown in just a single screen. If you perform really well then the commentary team will call you by a nickname which is quite innovative.

EA Sports has introduced a new series of skills in the on-ice game. Well, these skills managed to win the hearts of the NHL fans in real life.

Also, NHL21 has introduced the “no move move” which was made famous by Nikita Kucherov.

NHL 21 is expected to come by October 16. The game will be playable on the PS4 and Xbox One. However, the company hasn’t spoken anything about bringing the game to the next-gen consoles. 

NHL 21 will be playable from 9th October for the subscribers of EA Play. EA Play is the new name for EA Access.
